sunil,

I second everyone who mentioned checking to see if you have a leaking wheel cylinder. My car was pulling abruptly to the RIGHT upon hard braking and found the left rear brake cylinder leaking all over my drums (see picture below). Like someone else mentioned, it will be the opposite side brakes you want to check first.
