stalling problem 200 1988

Dear nicl:

I have had a similar problenm with a '91 245 and it was the fuel pump fuse connection. I tightened the prongs in the fuse holder and it still happened until I changed the fuse itself as well. Glass buss fuses work well but are hard to see if they are burned out, the European ceramic fuses are easy to read if burned out but often make poor connections. If ceramic fuses are to be used gold fuses are highley recommended.

Reasonable and Volvo mechanic are not words that go together often. Up here in the NE the best mechanics for Volvos are break away Volvo mechanics that start their own business. Due to copywrite restrictions imposed by Volvo's lawyers they are not allowed to use the name Volvo so many of them use the name "Vovo" or "Vo vo" if you do computer search with those terms in it you might find one in your area.

good Luck
Len
