You might check with Olof as he assisted me with the colors for my '58 444 which are the codes of 17-139 = blå/grå/svart vinyl. BTW, there is no "grey" anywhere in my interior. All of my accessories (steering wheel, ash tray pull, etc.) are black. The seats are white and blue/teal (sort-of blueish/green). Also, my exterior is 42 - California white/Cascade White/Ivory.
Yes, as you probably know, according to VP, the color code you have is described as "grå vinyl, grå perforerad vinyl" and applies to the USA-model 544 C-D 1962-63. Swedish Treasures also has this code listed as "Light grey vinyl, grey perforated vinyl (USA model)" for the same models and years. And, CVI-Automotive has it listed as "grey/grey" again, however, only for the door panels. CVI has a separate section listed specifically for seats, and for your code they describe the seat color as "62/63 Grey".
You say you purchased your 544 30 years ago. I am curious, where did you buy it? The interiors are so easy to swap, maybe someone at the dealer pulled a quick swap? or maybe the interior was changed to beige at the dealer after the sale because the original owner didn't like the gray? Do you have any original paperwork?
