Cold temperatures and shocks?

Thanks. Well, yes, the oil would thicken up as the temperature drops but, not knowing anything about shock design, I don't know to what extent the designer can compensate for that. The indy was not trying to sell me anything, we were just chatting. Likely I will go to him when the time come to replace shocks. His profit will likely be the same no matter what shock I choose. But I agree with you that OEM is a good choice for me. I'll keep sniffing around for people's experience though...and any technical insight.
