CTS or Temp sensor replacement- no coolant drain method 700

I hated the idea of draining the coolant just to replace the CTS so this is what I came up with. Not really a new method but hadn't used it for years

Separate the bleed line from the reservoir to the radiator. Plug off the fitting at the radiator, clear the line of coolant going to the reservoir and apply about 10"HG with a Mity Vac or similar tool. That's probably the maximum as the cap will vent about 10"HG.

Have the sensor already loosened so you can change it quickly with your fingers. Finish the job, snug it down, sorry, don't know the torque specs.

Never lost a drop! Just make sure to work fast!
