Price them. That will tell you what to get & learn. TIG is expensive, MIG is for mass production, Oxy-Acetylene is extra handy because you can weld, braze, silver solder, heat & cut with it. I actually think oxy welding is easier than MIG for welding thin metal like exhaust pipe.
