A/C compressor oil??? 700

hey everyone
i'm retrofitting my A/C system on my 1989 740GL with a B230 engine. the original compressor was bad and all the freion has leaked out. i went to the junkyard and bought a compressor, but i need to know how much oil to put in it? i was reading the FAQs and Dave said he put like 200ml, is that the right amount for my system?
any advice or tips that will make this job easyer are greatly appreciated!
