Starter intermittent problem 700 1990

Only in hot weather, the starter will occasionally fail to energize. The ignition switch module has been replaced. Another used starter was installed with no change of this intermittent problem.

A work around solution always causes the starter to work. A direct connection from the battery to the solenoid lung on the starter, results in a normal start.

The problem only occurs in hot weather – never in the winter.
