Thanks everyone. Well, have done numerous engines over the years including motorcycles and OHC engines requiring shims. I appreciate the art as well as science in getting the "lash" just right on the vintage stuff. This B18 is fairly clicky so I`m hoping to quiet it down some. One of the pleasures of driving this car is that it creates a cacophony (or symphony!) of sound. My wife swears she hears a baby crying when she is in the car. I think she hears the clutch master cylinder whining. Anyway, I will give it a go.
