...for a 84 245Ti / w244K miles in California. Trans is the original unit.

I think mine's about to shell out (symptom: delayed reverse when cold). Fluid checks ok (clean and full), kickdown cable not binding, shift linkage may need adjusting, I'll try that next.

Anyway, who knows a good California rebuilder or has a line on a good used AW-71 (no AW-71L)?
