Hello there!
I am new to this club, so if I do something silly excuse me, and hello to everybody.
I have been a customer of Volvo World for years since I own a 1982 245 Diesel station wagon, which I love dearly. It has been a good reliable car for almost 9 years. My in-laws bought it in England when my father in-law was working there and brought to the uSA. It has had good treatment from the beginning.
The problem and the sad story about it is that I reside in New Orleans, Louisiana USA and as you know we were hit by Katrina. Well to make the long story short, my station wagon got flooded up to the hood. I have a asked a couple of people about what to do and they tell me to get rid of it! But before I do that, I would like to know if there is anything I can do (that won't cost too much) to save it. The car means a lot to me, but if I have to get rid of it, I want to do it knowing that I did all I could within my means to save
Any information you can provide will be greately appreciated.
Sincerely,
Patriciast
