Air Compressor Chirping Noise 200 1985

this has been mentioned by others in other posts -
when the rubber bushings in the compressor mounting bracket start going bad, the compressor itself can swing out of position a little. then the compressor pulley doesn't line up properly with the drive belt.
you can sight down the belt, compare the plane the belt is on to the plane the pulley is on, and see if this is happening.
if it is, that may be the source of the noise you have.
