metallic click from rear end when brakes first appied 200 1986

Hello Tom:

Are you dead sure your torque rod bushings are good?

I had this happen several months after having the torque rod bushings replaced on my '92 245. It turns out that the guy who put them in for me installed them incorrectly. These were FEBI Bilstein rubber torque rod bushings, and this guy installed them with the rubber segments 90 deg off.

I just bought the poly ones from FCPgroton.com and I am going to try again.

Another thought-- how are your motor/tranny mounts? Clearly you have some issues with differential transfer of mass under both positive and negative acceleration...

Let us know what fixes things for you...
