Los Angeles Volvo Mechanic? 700 1987

How to Find a Good Mechanic 101:

Ask other Volvo owners. If you happen to meet another Volvo owner, ask them where they get their car serviced. Ask them what shops to avoid and why.

The yellow pages, look in the car repair section for independant Volvo specialists. Southern California is full of RWD Volvos and there are plenty of shops out there, especially in the South Bay, that specialize in swedish steel. Drive by the shop and check them out.

If all else fails, there's the dealer. Westside Volvo in Culver City has a pretty good reputation in the Volvo Community but they recently changed hands...time will tell.

Can anyone else chime in with tips for finding a decent mechanic?
