Towing a 122 Volvo with a 940 Volvo 900

Hi all, I'm looking into buying a 122s wagon... my dream car for the last 10+ years. It'll be a bit of a drive to get it, and while it's drivable, it could be a logistical problem to get there and get it back. So it ocurred to me that I could perhaps find a volvo tow hitch for my 1995 940 and rent once of those chain-to-front-of-the-car towing setups from U-Haul. Thing is, I'm not sure if towing a 1960s volvo "tank" with my 940 would be a good idea. In a very broad sense, it would be "downhill" for most of the return trip.

Any thoughts or experiences?

Any suggesting on where I can find a (complete) 940 towing setup (wiring, hitch, and ball) for a good price?
