Available Engines on '95 940's 900

Hi guys,

A little help please. I am looking at a '95 940, and the ad says that it has a 3.0 6 cyl engine. When I checked on MSN autos it said the only available engines for this car were the 2.3 4 cyl (the turbo offered more hp but that was the only difference). Is MSN wrong or is it possible that the engine was changed in this car. The ad said original miles, but one never knows (especially if it has an engine in it that was not factory offered:-)
