Light problem after New Deck install 700 1991

Yesterday I installed an aftermarket deck into my 740Ti. Its a 91. I found a website through the search function on this site to a PDF file that explained the install. I followed its directions. My cars wiring was slightly different as the site said all the speaker wires were located at the amp. Though in my case the rear two speakers were located there, but the front two had to come directly from the old amp plug (maybe the small 3.5" speakers were supplied small wats from the stock head unit?) Anyways, I cut both connectors off of the wiring (at the amp, and at the back of the head unit).

I wired everything up, BUT now I have somthing very weird happening. When my head lights are in the off position, they are on! And in the on position they are off. I have no more DRL.

Does anyone have any idea what I could have messed up? Do I need to cross two wires? I was just going to leave it be, but someone told me that I might be sending current through the wrong way, which might cause a fire in overloaded smaller wires! This can't stand as I am going on a road trip this weekend.

Thanks for any responses.
