780 weird noise/vibration

Hello Bricksters,

I have been combating an untracable vibration problem in my lowered '89 780.
It happens at any speed when the front right suspension has a greater than normal load, such as during braking or left turns. It is a quick, slight vibration with a low sound, as if a large piece of plastic would be rubbing on something. At first it only happened when making a quick left turn, but it has now got to the point when it happens at any left turn, and even under slight decellaration.
I just changed the wheel bearing with a junkyard one, a has made no or little difference. It might be a bit better, have not tested it extensively yet, but I'm pretty sure that the bearing is not the problem.
I have looked high and low in the wheel well to see if anything rubs, but have not found anything.
If anyone has any suggestions on where else to look, I'd be very grateful!
Thanks,

Balu
