ASAP HELP CAR CRANKS 700 1991

i have a 91 740 my problem is when i get in the car to leave my car will start once but when i turn it off a minute later my car wont start or it will start but die out or it will start sometimes if i hold the key there for 5 seconds while cranking but when i do that it starts very rough or sometimes i will get it started take it out of park and it will die out now this car is like a puzzle i really appreciate some help
