Extending seat track? 200 1990

There are holes for one more inch, but in every seat I've looked at, it is already in the furthest-back holes, as if that is default setting. You'd have to remove the seat and disassemble the track to move the bolt position if it was (you hope) found in the forward spot.

By the way, interesting comment about the handgrips. I installed the fourth grip for the driver (not to replace the armrest), and after 10K miles have yet to remember to use it. I grab it all the time just for a change of position or stretch, but not once used it to enter or exit the driver's position. That's lucky the hole pattern lined up to the armrest screws.

Let me know if you would like any detail on the seat mechanism; I have several in the house and a handy camera.
