142 tie rods/front brake calipers 140-160 1973

The first time you remove the caliper you do have to unhook the line that
goes through the bracket on the dust shield. However while you have
it off, get out your Dremel tool and #409 cutoff disks and slot that
loop so that once you loosen the backup nut, the hose can be slipped
in and out without removal on subsequent occasions.

(Hopefully you will not be doing this on a weekly or monthly basis.)
