electrical connection preservative? 200

Pre-88 volvos have major harness troubles and you are going to have to replace yours sooner or later due to failing insulation.

But if you do disconnect a connector, spray both sides of the contacts with Caig Labs "DeOxIt", a cleaner/deoxidizer spray used by electronics techs to solve computer problems. Miracle stuff. Then treat the connection (with the sole exception of the oxygen sensor connector) with silicone dielectric grease to prevent contaminants from interrupting the contacts.
