Sucess! 200 1985

I went out to take a look but this engine is "crammed" into the back corner of my shop and it's in shadow and I didn't have my flashlight with me. 20'x24' shop with 14 double flourescent tubes and this thing finds a way to be in the dark! Well, using a lighter and looking at it the bast I could it is affixed to the block with a 45 degree fitting but the fitting does not look like your "common" brass 45. The end that screws into the block is "short" and the end on the other side of the elbow is about an inch long. The sender is oriented vertically when looking at it from the side.

You might be able to duplicate this with a couple of nipples and a 45 deg brass elbow...

I'll try to round of a flashlight and look at a bit better when things "warm" up this afternoon.
