average life of main fuel pump? 200

My car is still on the original pump at 212k, but I can tell that it should be pushing more fuel than it currently is, espicially during boost. 270k your pump could have a while to go, or might be on the way out, but it's hard to tell. If everything is working fine, you should probably leave it, but if its eating fuses and making a lot a noise it should be checked out.
