plenty...

the PVC fitting didn't stay in one place while I was tightening it on. I used the cam gear to put on the back of the PVC with the crank bolt through it to simulate the seal installer that I'm interested in. However, I was never able to get the seal in straight because the PVC kept squirming around. I actually had to pull out the one I put in because teh PVC had pushed it too far in at one point.

If you just use the PVC and "push" in the seal, you are still not guaranteed that the seal will go in straight. I was a bit disappointed, so that's why I am interested in getting the correct tool for the job.

The PVC seemed to work just fine for the cam and aux shaft seals, but the crank seal was definitely a nightmare.

hope this helps.

Mike
