Idles lows and dies 700 1987

This is after a head replacement.

The idle is rough and missing and dies. I just got a timing gun and am going to try to set the timing. I did line up the distributor in almost the same position. Moving the distributor has a little but slight effect.

I replaced the amm with a used one, it had been tampered with. I tried playing with the screw but no effect. I put on the old amm (all duct taped after I broke it while removing it from it's housing, the same)

I checked for vacuum leaks, there should not be any.

If I remove the amm wire, it limps into 1500rmp and does not miss.

Ohh, by mistake I over torqued the knock sensor. It was on pretty tight, manual says 8ftllbs, but it required some force to lossen the bolt.

quick question, the ETC sensor has a blue connector right?
