Re: Why does my car have a vacuum switch spliced into the harness? 200 1984

I also have one on my '83 B23F, but it looks like a factory install. The best I can figure from my LH book is that the throttle switch was supposed to replace the vacuum switch (the TS has clicks at idle and WOT, right?) But I have both.

I've never taken the time to trace the wiring out from it, but a cut-out for the AC under heavy loads sounds like it might just be the reason...
