Wheel bearings again 200 1992

Sorry to keep asking, but....

I'm convinced from prior responses that repacking wheel bearing isn't overly difficult. But, I was looking in Bentley's and it mention something about the ABS speed sensor wheel having to be pressed out, yadda. Is this mandatory? Can I get around this and still do the job I need to? Also, most say that I really don't need the specialized tools to take bearings out and put them back. Does this apply to the rear as well? Thanks. I'll try not to keep beating on this.

-Marcus
