I think you might want to be sure it actually can do that.I have no idea when the vent position (rear end of sunroof tilted up slightly) was introduced. My 92 has it. If it should, then I'd check out the switch, especially if your motor operates the roof. In order to actitivate mine, I continue to depress the close position and it will pop up. To close it you press the swtich to open the roof. There is always a pause between those modes.
