I have squeeky brakes as well. My FORMER mechanic replaced the brakes but did something to the calipers, my new mechanic explained it to me but I can't remember exactly what he explained. Basically, whatever he did caused the rotors to smooth out or something, leading to the squeak. The calipers are bad or uneven or something.

My brakes work, but they'll squeak until I replace the rotors AGAIN and the calipers I believe is what he told me. !@$^#$^@$% to my former mechanic, a pox on him and his descendants.
