Booster seat, center position in wagon 200 1990

Is there any way to install a shoulder belt for the center position in the rear seat of a 1990 240 wagon?

Soon, I'll need to switch to Toddler/Booster seat. The tether will still allow center position -- fine as long as my girl can use the harness.

But when she gets to 'booster' phase, she will have to use a shoulder belt, as far as I can tell.

I am not letting my girl sit in any spot but the center -- best protection is plenty of space, even with side-impact air curtains or whatever.

(I have one kid - if another comes along, I'll get something with another row of seats, aka a horrid minivan or a freakishly humongous Suburban.)

What can I do? A newer Volvo is out of the question -- 200 series is the last line that looks like a Volvo to me (just my opinion). And I love my 240 wagon(s)
