Re: Engine moisture 1800 72

Make sure the fitting where the hose goes to the manifold is open.

They are bad about getting clogged. I'm not sure what size hole

yours has but if it is tiny you might want to drill it a little

bigger, not more than 3/32". This will affect your idle and you

may have to make some adjustments. Also be sure all the hoses,

traps, etc are clean and free-flowing. There is probably a rolled

up copper strip in the outlet of your breather box, which you should

take out and clean, and reinstall.

Most important of all, when it's cold and you crank that baby up,

run it until the oil is above 220 F so that you cook the condensation

out of it. If you have an oil cooler, it might be good to disconnect

it until the weather gets warm again.
