Stock redline for B230f? 200 85

What is the redline for the B230F engine with stock cam? The tach in my '85 245GL has an orange marking at about 5500 RPM and the "red zone" is from 6000-7000 revv's. So is the redline at 5500, 6000, or 7000 RPM? My Haynes manual says that it's at 5400, but I think that I remember reading somewhere on the BB that it is 6000 or 6500. To tell you the truth, I've never taken it over 5000 rpm (probably not much power up there anyway), but in case I ever get the urge to stand on the throttle or something, I want to be sure that I don't over-rev her and throw the #1 con rod. :-)
