Re: oil trap cleaning 200 82

I just did this yesterday as part of a major overhaul. The oil trap is held down by two 12mm bolts that also hold a bracket for the air/fuel control unit. So yea, you do have to remove the intake manifold, and the air/fuel control unit. The oil trap is plastic, you take out the two bolts and it slide right up and out. Be careful not to break the tube that fits into the block. This is where the trap slides into place. At that point, you probably should replace any worn hoses, too.
