I just bought a set of Yokohama Guardex F720 snows w. steel rims from Discount Tire Direct. In a 185/70/14 you should be able to buy Yoko tires(very good snows by the way)steel rims, mounted, balanced ... delivered to your door for around $400 total. Really a very good deal as a package. The Yokohama Guardex snows run quiet, have very good snow/ice traction. They are comparable to B/S Blizzaks, but cost a lot less and last a lot longer. Blizzaks are only snow compound for about have the tread depth. Yokos are 100 per cent snows down to the wear bars. Check out prices at the Tire Rack or Discount Tire Direct.
