Re: TIRES 700 1989

Well, I'm frugal (read poor) so I figured I'd give my opinion to round out the responses you received. I have an 89 745GL with 200k miles. The car is in good shape despite its 600 dollar purchase price. I just put tires all around and chose the BFGoodrich made Ultra series in a 195/60/15 size. They are an H rated tire and so far Im very happy with them--excellent wet weather performance, very quiet and very grippy in the dry. Best part is the $56 dollar per tire purchase price including mounting, balancing and four wheel alignment from Town Fair Tire....

Too cheap to buy snows this year so I'll let you know how they handle in the white stuff.....
