Re: 16V engine 700 1992

Mechanically the difference is the head, and the balace shaft (to help it smooth out). I am not sure what the difference is otherwise (I.e. electrically) but there may be some info in the FAQ's that might help. I think a lot of people would tell you to avoid the 16V engine though (I'm not one of them but I apear to be in the minority), and I am not sure if it is eaier to switch to this engine, or to turbo, I am sure others have more experience in engine swapping (I haven't had to do it on my 740, I have done it with 240 and 140 models though). Hope you get some more answers that help:)
