Where does my owner's manual stow in my 1995 945? 900

I've long had the same peeve as you. Our vehicle registrations and insurance certificates here are the same size as the owner manual, maintenace manual and radio manual. I keep these all together in their plastic pouches in the glovebox the way the Volvo gods intended. Everything was fine in the 700s until passenger side airbags came along. They had to make room for the airbag above and didn't bother to redesign the right side defrost tube or the dash cross member brace to accomodate a better glove box. They could have made one steeper and deeper at the lower back if they wanted to. Marketing obviously didn't get the memo and didn't change the manual size. If you keep it all to the left and have a bit of stuff below at the front, it will tip the manuals up enough to close. The 240s had a slightly more generous glovebox to start with. I'm not sure how much they had to change them for passengeer side airbags, presuming they got them in the final model years.
