Volvo 220 rear differential 120-130 1967

Hello,

As long as everything inside the donor rear end is stock, you'll be able to transfer the necessary parts to remove the PowerLok.

The majority of Dana 30 differentials installed in 122S sedans or coupes came with 4:10 gear ratio ring and pinions while stock P220 Dana 30 rear ends came with 4:56 gears, so you'll have to transfer the ring gear from your posi. If you opt to install the 4:10, you'll probably have to adjust the ring and pinion and that's not easy.

May I assume you're breaking the crossshafts in the PowerLok? New ones are available and I'm pretty they're made of stronger material. However, clutch kits seem to be hard to find nowadays.

FYI, we're about to rebuild a Dana 27 for a customer and for the 1st time, we're installing a Quaife posi. Quaife also makes posis for Dana 30 rear ends with coarse spline axles.
