264 Gle, 2.7 L DRIVER side / RIGHT sideTaillight Assembly for english volvo not american volvo. 200

Could you please specify the year?

A look at a Volvo 200 series service manual that includes the wiring diagram and tail light disposition to highlight U.S. left hand drive and commonwealth right hand drive tail light layouts could help.

Older Haynes manual that support the 264 may help. Also, www.volvowiringdiagrams.com can help.

The 264 used a flat six-panel tail light display in two horizontal rows. These tail lights did not wrap to the exterior side as with the 1979 and later 240 five-panel lights.

Auto lighting in the U.S. is controlled by the U.S. DOT (transportation dept.). So, the disposition will probably be different. The housings may be the same as are the lens color and arrangement. The U.S. dot lights may have a vacancy with a reflective lens over it as with the later wrapping six panel tail lights at the bottom center row. Also, the rear fog lamp set up may be wired differently.

I'm not sure.

It would help if you added more detail, what your year 264 is, some example images, and the like for other brockboard members to reply.

Please advise.

Hope that helps.
