123 Distributor 120-130

Did you say you had IPD's 4-1 headers?

The cam is a Volvo D grind on the inlet & a larger Isky VV-71 grind on the exhaust. A great idea for a stock head, not so much with ported head.

Its oil pressure is a bit wonky though, goes as high as 80 PSI at initial start up and after it is completely warmed up and after some miles of driving, at idle the pressure will come down as low as 20 psi at 900 RPM.

What oil? 10psi is plenty at idle, but, I like a high idle to fling more oil at the cam.

34° Total timing is your maximum on good fuel, but that's hard to check with a 123 in the C curve because it has a dual curve that doesn't stop until 5000ish rpm. You can't set you idle timing at 1200 either.

Where is your cam timing at? What were you told to set your tappets to?
