One thing that I had to do a few years ago with one of my cars that had been hit by someone else, and the other guy's insurance tried to low ball me.....I reminded them that my car did not have a for sale sign on it when it was hit, and we started the negotiation process all over again. They are paid to pay you as little as possible, and would be happy to pay you nothing at all.
