You guys may already figured this out, but I didn't see it anywhere on the board, so I thougt I would post it.

I needed to pull the drum off of my old Volvo, and couldn't afford the $125 puller from IPD.

So here it is:
I went to my local auto parts store and borrowed a regular axle puller. A lot of parts stores lend out tools for free. Autozone and o'reilly both lend out tools here in Oklahoma. (you just pay for the wholesale price of the tool when you get it, then they refund it when you bring the tool back). Be sure to get the 4.5 -5.5 adapter.
Then I went to Ac hardware and got a Grade 8 bolt to replace the slide hammer that comes with the axle puller. I would not reccomend anything other than a grade 8, just to be sure nothing goes wrong. Anyway, this was a very cheap way to do it, and it worked perfectly. I also suggest putting some grease or white lithium on the axle and the bolt to ease friction.
This also provides a solid place to put a bar so you can really torque on the bolt!
And you can use the slide hammer to put the drum back on too!
