'Poly' bushings..... 200

Have been reading various post about "poly" bushings for rear torque rods which don't seem right. According to FCP Groton (where I bought mine) one is to, remove the rubber from the old bushing, keep the original metal bushing shell, and insert the "Poly" bushing (two halves), and center metal sheath. The same from IPD. A rough measurement, shows that the "Poly" bushing would be a bit lose if the original bushings outer metal sleeve were removed. Any thoughts ?

Anyone else notice that the Bentley 240 manual, for steering (640-3), has a photo (Fig. 5) of how to pry open the steering shaft universal joint, with the bolt(s) still in place ?......@@##**##@@...just won't pry open !!
