Painting rubber bumpers and mirrors? 700 1989

I am considering a repaint on my 89 740 sedan. Has anyone painted the rubber bumpers with the accordian sides and or the mirrors?

Would like to put e-code headlights and the black bumpers and mirrors color matched to the car.
