I have the typical late 240 headlight problem, water is getting in the headlight. Some seven years ago I drilled an 1/8" hole in the underside of the plastic lens to drain the two inches of water that had accumulated in two years. That seemed to do it, however; I was driving in a down pour and the bulb burst because it got wet. Most 240's with the plastic lights seem to have the same problem. Junk yard cars always have the lights removed first, the junk man confirmed my observation. Any suggestions?
