Many thanks to those who responded to my posting. I have now diagnosed the problem as I noted that a very faint antifreeze vapor was being emitted out of my air vents and the carpet was damp adjacent to the console on the passenger's side. It is the heater core that is leaking. How difficult is it to replace the heater core? Has anyone done this job? Are there any explicit step-by-step, detailed instructions available anywhere?

I have ordered a new Nissens Heater Core and new inlet and outlet heater hoses. I am somewhat apprehensive about attempting this job as it appears that I will need to remove the entire Dashboard assembly...

Any input will be appreciated!!
