Rain and poor initial starting and running 900

Just because it happens to someone else doesn't mean it can happen to me.

We have had so much rain in NC. After a rain and kind of hard starting and poor running for 5 minutes I knew it had to be water getting to the distributor. I'll come home and forget about until the next rain and start up, almost daily for a while. While washing the car I remembered to check the rubber. Mold, mildew and stuck on leaves and leaves behind the rubber.

Removed the leaves and a good scrubbing with a dish brush cleaned up the mold. Easy after rain start ups.

The rubber needs a wipe of silicone or Teflon spray.

Tom
