My wifes' 92 960 has stalled several times and is sending codes 113,115 and 212. It seemed to happen while accelerating. When the check engine light came on, the car would die. It wouldn't start until I cleared the codes, then ran fine for a couple of miles until the check engine light came on, then it stalled again. Luckily I limped it home and have since bought another car (97 S90)so the pressure is off and the wife is happy. Having read several similiar problems, the first thing I checked was the injector wiring. Seems be good and the noid lit on all six cylinders. I have access to several volvo parts (due to an unfortunate accident of my first 92 960) so I changed the injectors and fuel pressure regulator (which was 3 pounds low), replaced the plugs and 02 sensor. I took it out for a drive and the 212 code came back, but no stalling. I also noticed the idle rpm being a little low so I cleaned the IAC with no change to idle or code 212. Using a DMM, it looks like the O2 sensor is seeing a rich condition as the voltage is high. Does this indicate a vacuum leak or a leak in the intake system even with a lower than normal idle? Any direction would be apreciated.
