Stalling with codes 900 1992

I think that was certainly true on carburetor and open circuit fuel injection cars.

I'm not sure but perhaps because the closed-loop O2 sensor detects a leaner mixture, the ECU, in an effort to adjust the air/fuel ratio to 14.7:1, trys to drives the injectors or to adjust the IAC to a richer condition in idle mode, thus a rough idle. I don't know the ECU program, so please don't hold me to This. Perhaps there is someone reading this who could enlighten us.
